The rules for using our website, membership, programmes and donations.

Welcome to the website of the Selangor State Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Economic Association (“PeKUSEL”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing this website, registering as a member, joining our programmes or making a donation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. About PeKUSEL

PeKUSEL is a non-profit association registered with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS) under registration number PPM-004-10-11032022. Our purpose is to advance the economic standing of entrepreneurs from the asnaf, former asnaf and B40 communities in Selangor.

2. Use of this website

  • You may use this website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes only.
  • You must not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or its data.
  • You must not upload or send any content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive or that infringes the rights of others.

3. Membership

  • Membership is open to applicants who meet the eligibility requirements set out in the PeKUSEL Constitution. All applications are subject to approval by the Supreme Council.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information when registering, and to keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Membership fees are payable as stated on the Membership page. Fees are non-refundable once membership has been activated, except where required by law.
  • PeKUSEL may suspend or terminate membership for breach of these Terms or of the PeKUSEL Constitution.

4. Programmes, training and events

  • Places in training sessions, bazaars and other activities are limited and allocated at PeKUSEL’s discretion.
  • We may change, postpone or cancel any programme. Where a paid programme is cancelled by us, we will offer a refund or a place in a replacement session.
  • Participants must follow the rules of the venue and any instructions given by PeKUSEL officers or the relevant local authority.
  • Photographs and video may be taken at our events and used to promote PeKUSEL’s activities. Please inform our officers if you do not wish to be photographed.

5. Donations

  • Donations made through this website are voluntary and are used to support PeKUSEL’s programmes for Bumiputera entrepreneurs, including training, access to financing and business networking.
  • Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days and we will review your request.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. PeKUSEL does not store your full card or banking details.

6. Intellectual property

The PeKUSEL name, logo, text, photographs and other materials on this website belong to PeKUSEL or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without our prior written permission, except for personal reference.

7. Third-party links

This website may contain links to websites operated by our partners or other third parties. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those websites.

8. Limitation of liability

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, PeKUSEL is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, and continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
